This Forum is for meeting up with others that served in Korea. If you were in Korea during the War, or stationed in Korea any time after, you can post up where you were, and hopefully over time, will start meeting up with others that you served with.

PostSubject: Camp Hovey   Wed Mar 23, 2011 4:27 pm

Was thinking about my tour in Korea and surferd around and found this site. I was at Camp Hovey from Feb '88 to Feb '89. I was unofficially engaged when I arrived in country and spent the first 4-5 months saving every penny I could. Then the "Dear John" letter came. I was devastated and spent a week or so feeling sorry for myself. Then a light came on and I went on a mission to get down range and pound as much ass I could! Spent almost every penny I had saved! I remember this one chick named Mimi. I think she worked at the Ace club. Anyway, I f---ed her every chance I could. There were dozens of others too. Man, what memories.
