DSD 2/71 ADA During 1976

Hi guys!

I'm Bob Hughes. I was a member of the Direct Support Detachment (DSD) 2nd / 71st ADA Korea from Jan 1976 thru Feb 1977. After Korea I was stationed at Ft Bliss TX,
W Germany, Redstone Arsenal, and also did a stink back in El Paso representing the Army during what was then called IHAWK PIP Phase IV Training, Testing & System Acceptance w/ Raytheon in both, El Paso and White Sands, NM.
ETS: 25, Aug 1985 after just under 11 years active duty.

Just checking in to see if there's anyone else out there that may have served w/ me. I see Shrader's name posted and wonder if that's Rex? Since it was mentioned he was the softball coach, it HAS to be! I played w/ him.

Now that I located this forum, I'll have to pull out my yearbook and do some browsing and post some pics.

I VERY recently retired (19 Dec 2012) as a US Army Civilian Federal Employee. After serving and working for the US Army for my entire adult life, it was time. My plans insclude R & R until I get too bored and then who knows what I'll do after that.

Anyway, after I go thru the yearbook I'll be back for another post.
