got to korea jan 68 just in time for the blue house assassination attempt on park and the pueblo incident. while it was bitter cold and scary, going from airport directly to perimeter, the next yr + on DMZ (i was discharged from korea april 69) was actually a great learning experience. cold winter, hot summer, nights in the bunkers in the zone and running patrols made a 19 yr old grow up fast. was in CO A 3rd BN 32nd INF, if anyone else from there let me know. i ride a motorcycle and wear a hourglass patch which gets some comments from time to time from vets who were also in the 7th. take care
