Company C, 335th Maint Bn Camp Johnathan Williams

Hello--I was at Camp Johnathan Williams from Oct 67 to Oct 68. Company C was a maintenance company and the Compound Headquarters. Also on the Camp was a ROK Engineer Company and the admin section of a HAWK missile battery. Company C did direct support maintenance for the 2nd ID and the HAWK battery. We had a swimming pool, chapel, O'Club, NCO Club, tennis court, PX and a power station to supply all the electricity for the compound. It was a great year there. I believe the camp closed within a year or two after I left. I wonder what is there now, and I wonder what MSR 1 looks like. I need to find my year book and look at the old pictures one of these days.

I was at camp Jonathan Williams from 69 to oct 70. was the lone Doc for the 2 units. Tdy from 567 med ambulance unit. only saw the CO on payday. I drove a ambulance to Camp Howze most everyday carry troops to dispensary sick call. Came down with prostate cancer in 99' ,filed Agent Orange claim, denied twice because I could not document any contact. 567 med was at Camp Mosier out from Uijonbu. also was stationed with 44 MASH Hosp which i think may have been 2nd Division. now have lost 85% of my hearing. VA provided me with hearing aids but have not found if I can use for any disability claim. any one else who may have served around this time and has similiar med problems , let me know if any luck with disability claim
