d co. 4th manit bn

I was assign to d co 4th manit bn from sep/oct 1968. i worked in the welding shop and played on the unit baskball team. after i made ssg i was assigned to c co. 4th maint bn at camp paige. i left d co in jan 1969. the 1st sgt was name was Cryer I remember him well because he made sure i went the promotion board . iremember sgt putman , unit clark coach the basketball team , i remember the following sp4 william , greenleaf ,ssg west, msg marshell ,sfc owens (a co) .
iwas station in korea 59-60 with 16th ord company in tague , 68-69 a co 4th mnt bn, c oc 335 mnt bn, d co 4th mnt bn, and c co. 4th mnt bn.
after i was assigned to d co. order come down for to be transfer to 76 eng bn in ascom. ist cryer got on the phone was chewing out about why i was being move around so much . he got the order cancel .

Hello Jimmie, I was in D Company 4th Maint also, but I guess just after you departed. Best I can remember, I arrived there some time in the Spring or Summer of 69. D Company was ay Cp Kyle then, but within a week of me arriving, the company moved to Cp Stanley.

I was a Sp5 Mechanic, and assigned to the Motor Pool. A month or so latter I was assigned to the Inspection Section. I made Sp6, then a while latter sent to our Detachment at Cp St Barbara. Stayed there till time to out process.

I think Cryer was still there when I arrived.

d 4th co. do you remember any one in your short time there. was that the only time you was statin in korea . iwas there again in 75-76 . after ireired, i work there in 78-80,82-86 1990-2005 . i live in the philippines 7 month out the year .the other 5 mont ispend between omaha,NE and chicago,IL
