| Hello All,
I was at Camp St. Barbara form Apr 70 - Dec 70 when I left and went to Nam. I am looking for the yearbook that someone published there. If anyone has a copy they would like to part with, please let me know.
Thanks, Bill | |

| I am sure each unit had there own year book. At least at the Battalion level. Like the 6/12th, 2/76th Art, etc. I have one from 1970, from D Company 4th Maintance Bn, but I am sure you are not interested in that. What unit were you in? | |

| I was part of a small 12 man Maintenance Detachment. My Company, D Comp, 4th Mnt Bn was down at Cp Stanley. We only saw them once a month when we loaded up in our 2 1/2 Van, and went there to get paid. We did all the Direct Support repairs on the trucks, radios, the 8 inch and 175 mm guns. We stayed in the 6/12 area. We worked hard, but partied just as hard. Here ia a shot of our crew. Maybe you will recognize someone. That is our work shop in the back ground. Here is a link to the Cp St Barbara web page in case you have not seen it. http://www.qsl.net/wd4ngb/stbarbara.htm | |

| Hi Bill,
I was the Radio repairman for HHB ICA during the time that you were there. I left St Barbara when we moved down to Camp Red Cloud. I'm sure we must have either known or met each other. What was your job there?
Dan
Oops.. I just reread your post and did a double take on the dates. I arrived in January 1971. We turned the camp over to the ROK later that spring. My bad on the post!

| Bill - I arrived about a month after you left. I worked under Captain Daniel W Abel III. Our commander was General Daniels (I think).
Let's see, there was Sgt Rodriguez, Sgt Franklin (I think.. black guy - our reinlistment sgt), Harry Bridwell (commo), Tinsley (also commo - he ran the switchboard), Ed Halblibe (sp?) and Rich Noble (they always hung together), Jose Santa Cruz, Paul Venus, Henry Hicks, BJ (blonde guy-wore his hair parted in the middle).
Man, haven't though about those names for many years... Any of them ring any bells? | |
