Is Camp Matta still in use? I served there back in 1970 and I'm unable to find any information on it.

Hello, and Welcome to the group. I knew of Matta in my earlier tours, but no information on it now. I was told that all US camps, except JSA were turned over to the ROKA in the western area. If you have any pictures from your time, I would be happy to add a section on the web page.

I don't have any Camp Matta pictures. But I do have other pictures from 1970 & 1971 of other areas of Korea. Including some from Camp Hovey, Camp Casey, Camp Colbern and a few from the DMZ if you are interested. Most of them are small photos, something like 3x4 or 4x5.

If you can scan them in some thing like 300 pixels per inch, they will be fine. Would love to add them.

Is there an easy way for me to send the pictures to you? I tried clicking on the email pictures tab and it asked my providers settings? I tried POP3 and the other settings and they failed.

I could use photobucket, but I'd rather give you the chance to look at the pictures first since the quality is not very good.

If I had your email address I could add them as attachments in a direct email to you.
