I was in the Bat'l FDC in '66-'67 as Chf. Computer for our 175's . Left in early '67 for Ft Hood.

We started out down near Seoul when I got there, moved to St.Barbara in the middle of winter.

Had a few infiltrators get in, couple of times, and once a ROK about a 1/4-1/2 mi. down the road in one of those mini chk. pts. got MG'd, cut in half by one of them. Did you hear about that? Got tense!

Name is Rick. I was in the 6th/12th Headquarters Bat in 1964. Can't remember the camp name but it was on highway 3 south of Camp Red Cloud. I was in the survey section but spent most of my time as a forward observer. We were attached to I Corp and did a lot of testing other artillery batteries.
