I was stationed at Camp Casey in B Company 127th Signal Battalion during the command of the 7ID in 1967-78. Our unit was located across the southwest street from the division parade field. Spent my off duty time in the many facilities on base or TDC. Spent some time TDY on a small compound about one mile south of Yongjugol. My MOS was 31M, but my main function became driver for the battalion commander, which I did until May 1968. Camp Casey and Tongduchon remain, but both places have been totally rebuilt since my day. As expected, it's a different Army now, a totally changed Camp Casey, a town that doesn't resemble the TDC I knew, and it goes without saying, a different South Korea.
