I was in the 702nd Maintenance Battalion, D-Company. I was a Weapon’s Specialist and ran the firearms repair shop. If you ever came into my shop to deliver firearms you should remember seeing that all the walls were covered with Playboy photos. Officers from surrounding camps would come into my shop just to look at the walls. I spent 12 months there and was there when we moved to Camp Stanley. Being at Camp Rose was an experience I’ll never forget. I’m proud to have served there. If any else was there during that time please respond.

On my 2nd tour, I was in D Co 4th Maint Bn. The company was at Stanley, and supported I Corp and 36th Eng Group units. The 4th Maint Bn rotated out in late 70. I would guess you moved into our area at Stanley. We were down by the airfield, and the barracks was near the gate closest to the prison.

Shows some of our area.

I was only at Stanley about 3 months, and spent the rest of tour up at Cp St Barbara.

Was stationed in Korea 1960-61, 69-70, 78-79, 81-82.
