| I was CO of A Battery 1st TAB, Nov 66 - Dec 67. Things were getting interesting about the time I left.
This is a great site, and I would enjoy talking to anybody who remembers me, especially guys from my unit. I have recently talked to Lt Missroon, who was CO of C Battery 6/12 while I was there. He is a retired Colonel. Lt Rakowski ,HHB 6/12, is a retired policeman in Detroit. Lt Kelting from C Battery 6/12 runs a business in South Florida. | |

| Thanks. This looks about the way it did when I was there, except that the motor pool was usually full of vehicles. The fence around it was broken after some slicky-boys stole the rear axles from some of the deuce-and-a-halfs, and one of them rolled off the hardstand and through the fence. The security guards were humiliated, and they had the axles back within a few hours. No more thefts from the compound after that. The photo was probably taken from Fob's Knob. | |

| Hi Guys, I just recently stumbled on to this site and noticed the following: In the first photo, "shot of A Batt. I noticed the EM hooches are missing. My hooche is gone from where it was in 67 when Smith and I were there. I see the EM club and can follow the path down to where the huts were. I can't figure out what they've done. I remember the huts were just behind the formation area. Must be newer photo of the Battery perhaps in the 70s. Regards, Donovan | |
